will i still have to pay accrued interest, I am waiting for a balance transfer to post on my credit card.?

I usually pay my discover bill monthly, however, I am running low this month. I transferred the balance onto another card. The bill is do today, and it hasn’t posted yet. I went ahead and paid the minimum payment. Is discover going to wipe my credit card down to zero, or am I going to have to pay interest on new purchases because the whole balance wasn’t paid off on date due? Thank you.

You need to call Discover and ask them. Depending on the lender, it can take a few weeks to show up on your card when you transfer a balance. Since it has not yet posted on your current bill it is probably good that you at least paid the minimum payment due.
