Will it hurt my credit score to transfer a balance from one card to another to keep it at 0% for another year?

I bought a computer last April for appox. $1700 and put it on a new credit card with 0% APR for one year. I still have about $1000 left to pay off and I’m considering transferring the balance to a new credit card which has 0% for a full year. Will this hurt my credit score? Is it better to dip into savings and pay off whatever is left in April?

because you are effectively “paying” the higher balance credit card by transfering it, it shouldn’t hurt anything – unless you make a habit of this

not at all. Do it all day long. This shows you are one of the smart ones. beat the system.

No (I strongly suggest you to pay more than $700 this year)
