They ALL charge a fee for balance transfers, that’s how they make their money. 2% of the transfer amount is the norm. However, if you’re paying that back over the 9 month interest free period it works out to be 2.6% APR which is a REALLY cheap loan rate.

phone them and negotiate with them, nothing ventured nothing gained. some companiees don’t advertise like thier offers but if you approach them they might just give you what you need – just to get your business, good luck (and be cheeky – ask for what YOU want)

For 0% interest, the lowest fee I’ve seen was 3%.
For no fee, the lowest interest I’ve seen was 1.99%.
Both were at Washington Mutual.
